Pim de Weerd
Pim de Weerd is an experienced mobility transition expert helping organisations and regions navigate the shift towards more sustainable, accessible and future-proof mobility systems.
With more than 15 years of experience across corporate mobility, strategy and innovation, Pim combines strategic thinking with hands-on implementation. He has worked at the forefront of the transition from traditional fleet management towards integrated mobility solutions, including his role as Global Commodity Manager Mobility at Philips, where he helped transform a global fleet organisation into a multimodal mobility programme focused on flexibility, sustainability and cost efficiency.
Today, Pim applies this experience to the complex mobility challenges facing organisations and regions. His expertise covers mobility strategy, sustainable commuting, shared mobility, cycling, mobility hubs, behavioural change, stakeholder management and ecosystem development.
What sets Pim apart is his ability to connect the different worlds that need to come together to make mobility transitions happen: business, government, employees, mobility providers and knowledge institutions. He believes successful transitions are not driven by technology alone, but by creating a clear vision, aligning stakeholders and turning strategy into solutions that people actually want to use.
Through strategic advisory assignments, Pim helps organisations answer the questions that matter most: Where do we need to go? What needs to change? How do we get people and stakeholders moving? And how do we turn ambition into measurable impact?
Pim is particularly passionate about accelerating mobility transitions in complex, rapidly growing ecosystems such as the Brainport Eindhoven region, where accessibility, talent, sustainability and economic growth are increasingly interconnected.
